So, I ordered those snow tires and steel rims yesterday at around 1:30pm from tirerack.com with an estimated delivery date of Monday, 12/7 or Tuesday, 12/8, totally acceptable right? Well, my dad called me at work at 10am this morning to tell me they were just delivered to the house!
O.O
HOLY CRAP!
The order was exactly as I placed it! Tires mounted to the rims and balanced for free as well as a box of 20 free lug nuts! I don't think I will ever shop for new tires at a tire store again!
My dad and I got them on my car in about 30 minutes with no problems at all. The car even sits a little higher off the ground which shocked me. I thought for sure the car would be lower. A test drive confirmed they balanced the wheels right, but the car does drive a little bit different. No more high speed turns for me... at least until Spring. :P
I think I will be all set for whatever this winter has to throw at me. *fingers crossed*
P.S. Its supposed to snow this weekend too! Perfect timing!

| Cheap Airsoft Gun For Sale |

I need to get rid of some stuff. I have a used in the box P90 electric airsoft gun. It's nothing fancy and is made in China, so don't think it's one of those expensive brands, it's not. :P It comes with two battery packs, a wall charger, shoulder sling, and removable "silencer". I used it one time as a prop for a convention I costumed at.
I'm asking $20 for it. I'm willing to ship (if you pay shipping) or I can arrange for local pickup/delivery.

| Car Stuff: Snow is on the way! |

Well, since I'll more than likely be in Michigan for this winter I figured I should invest in a set of snow tires to keep me from getting stuck or flying off the road into a ditch. I think I got stuck in the snow a few dozen times last winter. *growls* I don't want to go through that again.
A set of four new snow tires mounted to four 16" steel rims is going to run me about $660 with shipping. *cringe* If you think that's bad, a set of four 18" winter tires alone would run me over $700. That doesn't include mounting them to my stock rims. That's another $100+ bucks. :P
Sure, my car is going to look dorky and lame sitting on smaller, black, steel rims, but I shouldn't get stuck in the snow as much, not to mention it's going to be much safer.
Anyone know of any Tirerack.com coupons or discounts? I couldn't find any valid ones using Google. |

Its that time of year again... time for me to figure out what to buy my family for Christmas. My brother did the easy thing and bought a "family present", a new 40" HDTV. He suggested I buy a Bluray player with a few movies and do the same type of thing.
I don't know... It would go well with the TV, but I feel like one present for everyone is sort of lame in a way. After thinking back and forth on the matter, I gave some thought to picking up a PS3 for the family. This would cover the Bluray player, and give my two brothers (Ages 17 and 25) something as well. Maybe I could throw in a game or two for them, then a movie for my dad. I dunno... *facepalm*
Then there's my mom, who refuses to watch TV. I'd need to get her something too.
I like the Bluray player idea and am leaning slightly towards the PS3 with a bit of hesitation. Any ideas or comments out there? Also, mom-ish gift ideas... I am horrible at shopping for girls. :\ |

My ATC test is done and I'm home from Pittsburgh. I think I did well on some parts of the test and not so well in others. :P Now I wait 4 days to see how I did!

I just arrived in Pittsburgh for my test. This Crowne Plaza is meh... The rooms smell weird, they have crappy TV's, the AC unit is as loud as a train, and their pool/hot tub is closed for the season. The only good thing so far is my view of the airport from my window. :)
My plan for the evening is to get some last minute studying in. Just running over the basics and running a few practice games before I hit the hay.
Tomorrow I wake up super early, take a shower, then run down the road to take the test at 7:30am. The test lasts 8 hours, then I drive home. :\ Tomorrow is going to be a rough day.

As much as I want to, I wont be at FC2010. Work kinda screwed me on my MFF vacation, so I had to use what banked holiday days I had for MFF... the same holiday days I was planning on using for FC. :\
Sorry to everyone I was rooming with, I hope I gave enough notice. I let the critical people know as soon as I found out, literally. Texts were flying two minutes after I found out.
It's sort of for the better I guess. I really don't have the extra cash to justify the trip right now. I just looked at plane tickets and nearly pooped myself!
FC2010:
Airfare: $340 (Plus any baggage fees)
Hotel: $150
Con Registration: $45
I'm already at $535 and that's before baggage fees, food, drinks, and any other spending.
I am bummed that I won't be going, but seeing me save that much money makes it a little bit easier. :P |

I need to get more organized
After watching a television series on Hoarders, I've determined that I need to become more organized and need to get rid of a lot of things I have been holding onto for different reasons. Most being that I think that I may need them in the future even though they have been packed away in the basement for the last 5 years without being touched. Let it go Scott!
Weight
I have associated most of my health problems (all minor) with my weight. I am overweight... obese even. I had a run in with my doctor today about it. I need to get my shit in order and start eating smarter and working out. I think going to the gym would be fun.
Moved
I've posted about this a billion times before so I wont go on and on about it. I need to move out... out to Florida. One thing is standing in my way: Work. I'm currently working on a few options. |

| Home from FL + This next week |

I made it home safe and sound. I called work this morning to see when they had me scheduled to start work today (after talking with the HR manager last week to get my scheduled fixed) only to find out I wasn't scheduled to work. Yippie, my next check is going to be 16 hours short now. :\ Oh well, I would have been useless anyway.
Thanks to Chorca, Raddix, Mark, and Gerret for allowing me to stay at their place these past two weeks. I hope I wasn't too much of a burden on you guys. Thanks so much for opening your home to me for my stay.
I'm already missing everyone from Florida. :\
This next week is going to be an insane one. I work the next two days, then drive to Pittsburgh on Sunday for my FAA Air Traffic Controller test on Monday. I drive home Monday afternoon after my test lets out, then have a major doctor visit (with a few tests) on Tuesday morning for personal reasons. I still don't know what my work schedule looks like for next week, but I'm praying for all closing shifts so that I'm able to get some sleep.

Still down in Florida having fun! Me and Gerret went to Epcot on Friday and hung out all day, meeting up with Spain and Lisa later that evening. I think Epcot is my favorite Disney park and Soarin' is my favorite ride there. :P
Yesterday was Halloween and we all ended up just hanging out here, ordered pizza and passed out candy instead of doing the whole Elliots thing. It was worth it.

Tomorrow is going to be a pretty busy day for me. I have to take the car up to the dealership at 8am to get one of my seat belts fixed, then I have to get my wheels balanced, find out which ones are dented, come home and take them off, run up to the tire place and have them dismounted, then take the dented wheels to a shop to have them repaired.
I know for sure that one of my wheels is dented and I suspect there might be one other but wont know for sure until after I get them all looked at. I have only one spare so I hope its only the one. Otherwise, my car will be sitting on jack stands in the driveway for a couple days.
Oh yeah... I work at 2pm as well. ;P |
